Self-publishing services
Self-publishing your book can feel a bit overwhelming. I ran an indie publishing house for eight years, so I completely understand! The good news is that you don’t have to do it all yourself. My self-publishing services can take some of that off your shoulders.
Depending on your plans, you may need help with:
- manuscript evaluation
- editing and proofreading
- finding cover designers and illustrators
- obtaining ISBNs
- typesetting and book design
- liaising with printers and uploading print-ready files
- publishing through Amazon KDP or Ingram Spark
- preparing and uploading ebook files
- deciding on a distribution and sales solution
- planning a book launch
- finding reviewers
- planning a marketing strategy*
You can choose any combination, according to your own plans. Or start simple with just one service and build more on as you go! As this is a completely bespoke service, the cost will vary, depending upon the level of my involvement. But I will always be aware of your budget and can help you find ways to work within it.
Cost and timescale
Both the cost and the timescale will depend upon the level of work required. I usually quote a project rate, so we both know the cost up front, and I can offer payment in instalments for larger projects.
